10/08 Hailey and I muddled through our last RE leg this past weekend. 9/08 Team Topaz finished their NF this past weekend - Way to go!! Congratulations! 8/08 Lane finished her RE in 3 shows (despite her handler - moi), her 3rd leg was a 4th place. Hailey got two legs toward her RE but due to a class malfunction - picked up a 3rd place in Rally Advanced B the first day for practice - mine! Hailey also finished her show year, 14 shows, with a group 2 under Lowell Davis at the Cook Inlet Kennel Club shows. Thank you Sherry, Jamie and Kathy for showing Hailey for me this year - it has been a very good year for her. Topaz finished her NADAC Regular Novice title and finished her Superior Novice Tunnelers. Way to go you two!! 7/29/08 Happy Birthday H litter! What a wonderful group of dogs you have turned out to be and you have awesome owners!! 7/08 Topaz and Kathy picked up two Novice FAST legs at the Kenai Kennel Club trials with 2nd place finishes. Hailey, shown by Sherry Sims, had a another nice weekend. They were pulled in Group on Fri by Sheila Polk, Sat was Group 1 under Ms. Leslie Earl, Sun was a Group 3 under Linton Moustakis. Our plan of trying to pick up some more agility titles has been put on hold until I can use my left arm again. Many thanks to Mary Dougherty for trying to run Hailey for me, I am very appreciative! 6/08 Hailey, handled by Sherry Sims, took back to back Group 1's at the Alaska Kennel Club shows. Day 1 breed/group was Lee Canalizo and day 2 was Pat Hastings. Team Topaz are on a roll. Today they picked up their second CDX leg with ANOTHER 1st place! I could not be more excited for them, Congratulations!! Hailey took a Group 2 under Melanie Williams, with Sherry Sims handling since I do not have a usable left arm yet, at the Alaska Herding Group show today. Kathy, Topaz's mom, showed her in group on Sat - Thank you Kathy & Sherry! 5/08 Rags, our sweet little soul of a cat, we found her as a very sick adult ~8/91. She left us 5/28/08. We so miss her. Kathy & Topaz continue to have fun. Topaz picked up 6 first places and a 2nd place last weekend at the NADAC trials. I will post her new titles when she let's me know what they are :}. I must say a HUGE thank you to Kathy & Connie for taking such wonderful care of me last week. I fell while biking & broke my elbow. Had surgery on Wed & they were so kind to me! THANK YOU! I would like to express how impressed I am with two my puppy people. Both are new to dog events and they both have done SO well! Congratulations to Team Doc and Team Topaz! Thank you Gloria and Kathy for being such great puppy people!! Kathy & Topaz picked up their first Open leg today with a first place! Kathy, who said she might try agility when she first took Topaz home, Thank you! Gloria and Doc finished their novice weavers title this past weekend. Congratulations you two, you guys have done SOOO well!! 1/08 Hailey and Kathy Howse, Topaz's mom, took a Group 3 at the Kenai Kennel Club Show under Beverly Capstick. Congratulations!! Happy New Years! Hailey was entered in 5 conformation shows last year, amazingly she finished 2007 tied all-breed for #18. Thank you to Denise Dean, who gave her a Group 1 in Indiana in April, which gave her quite a few all breed points, it was very exciting |
